Specifications & application fields
Particularly suitable for welding steel thinner than 5 mm, galvanized sheet metal and pipes, tanker and boiler manufacturing, pipe installations, and primed or slightly rusted steel. Very easy to use in all positions, including vertical down, with strong gap-bridging capability. Its soft, smooth arc and easy ignition/re-ignition also make it well-suited to spot welding. Works with both AC and DC and produces a smooth, slightly concave bead; slag is self-removing.
